An Explicit Viscosity Iterative Algorithm for Finding Fixed Points of Two Noncommutative Nonexpansive Mappings
We suggest an explicit viscosity iterative algorithm for finding a common element in the set of solutions of the general equilibrium problem system (GEPS) and the set of all common fixed points of two noncommuting nonexpansive self mappings in the real Hilbert space.
متن کاملThe Implicit Midpoint Rule for Nonexpansive Mappings in Banach Spaces
The implicit midpoint rule (IMR) for nonexpansive mappings is established in Banach spaces. The IMR generates a sequence by an implicit algorithm. Weak convergence of this algorithm is proved in a uniformly convex Banach space which either satisfies Opial’s property or has a Fréchet differentiable norm. Consequently, this algorithm applies in both `p and Lp for 1 < p < ∞.
متن کاملWeak Convergence of Mann Iterative Algorithm for two Nonexpansive mappings
The mann fixed point algorithm play an importmant role in the approximation of fixed points of nonexpansive operators. In this paper, by considering new conditions, we prove the weak convergence of mann fixed point algorithm, for finding a common fixed point of two nonexpansive mappings in real Hilbert spaces. This results extend the privious results given by Kanzow and Shehu. Finally, we give ...
متن کاملModified semi-implicit midpoint rule for nonexpansive mappings
where h > is a stepsize. It is known that if f :RN →RN is Lipschitz continuous and sufficiently smooth, then the sequence {xn} generated by (.) converges to the exact solution of (.) as h→ uniformly over t ∈ [, t̄] for any fixed t̄ > . If we write the function f in the form f (t) = g(t) – t, then differential equation (.) becomes x′ = g(t)– t. Then the equilibrium problem associated w...
متن کاملExplicit Time Integrators for Nonlinear Dynamics Derived from the Midpoint Rule
We address the design of time integrators for mechanical systems that are explicit in the forcing evaluations. Our starting point is the midpoint rule, either in the classical form for the vector space setting, or the Lie form for the rotation group. By introducing discrete, concentrated impulses we can approximate the forcing impressed upon the system over the time step, and thus arrive at fir...
